Rolex White Tag Policy Change
Starting December 5, 2024, Rolex will no longer include white tags (White Tags) with its watches in Hong Kong. The white tag contains many important pieces of information, including:
- Barcode not found on the warranty card
- Model number
- Serial number
- Type of watch box
Each white tag is unique and cannot be replicated, and its importance is comparable to that of the warranty card. If lost, it cannot be replaced.
Currently, Japan has been implementing this policy for many years without including white tags with watches, and neither the United States nor Canada provides white tags. In the future, the global market will gradually follow this policy. The white tags that are no longer issued will be initially retained by Rolex’s authorized dealers (AD) and will later be returned to Rolex headquarters.
